I guess I should start by saying sorry for my lack of blogging....I just looked at the blogs of two of my friends studying abroad in Spain and realized I am not very good at keeping up with this haha maybe it is a good thing though because I do LOVE Dublin. My love for this city has actually become quite obsessive and I never want to leave...On Friday I leave for Paris, Rome, Barcelona, and Seville! Time has flown by and I cant believe it is time for me to travel for two weeks. I guess part of the reason is that I have my hardest midterm tomorrow (International Economics) and I have two papers that are due after break that I should write now...I am not sure that will happen though because I just tried to start one and then I realized I know absolutely nothing about Aristotle...this will be quite the essay because as a marketing major I do not think of myself as very philosophical...I guess we will see where this goes!
Anyways, this past weekend my best friend since 5th grade, Kathryn, came to visit me with her roommate from Spain. The two of them are studying abroad in Seville and I am actually going to visit them there next week! We had such an amazing weekend and I was sad to see her leave ): It was so great to be with a familiar face and even though I had just met Meg I felt like I had known her forever! On Friday I took them into the city to see all the tourist attractions. Of course I took them to the Temple Bar and as soon as I showed it to them this drunk Irish guy came up to us and mooned us...so bizarre, but also hilarious! I have to admit that I am not the best tour guide. I always know what the famous landmarks are, but I never know why they are famous. Partly because I hate history....and maybe because I have yet to do a walking tour of the city. Later that night we got dinner at the Trinity pub and the burgers were amazing!!! Kathryn and Meg also tried Guinness for the first time! Later that night we went to Keiley's pub which is in walking distance from my school. Tuesdays is the night that we usually go on since it is the student night but we still had fun with my other friends from Syracuse!
Reunited!
 Tourists...again

We ate it all! Not really a fan or Irish bacon....it's ham and they are just in denial

On Saturday we took the bus into Wicklow. Wicklow is a small, cute town right on the water. It was a very relaxing and scenic day that was desperately needed. To end our day we got Irish coffee and chips (fries in America). Sounds gross...but that's what we wanted haha Sometimes it is just fun to take a trip outside of Dublin and explore. We definitely did that because the tourist office in Wicklow was closed so we created our own tour haha

To be honest, I will probably not get the chance to blog for awhile...as of Friday I am going to Paris followed by Rome for 3 days, then Barcelona for 2 days and Seville for 2. I will be back in Dublin on Saturday before St. Patrick's day and then my family flies in on St.Patrick's day at 5:30am. From there we will be exploring Dublin, Cork, and Galway. Busy, Busy, Busy! I hope I can handle all this travelling (: xoxo
